The ever growing demand in statistics for informed and evidence based policy making results in growing challenges to monitor small-scale fisheries and produce timely and reliable statistics.

Collecting information from small-scale fisheries is recording data from scattered landing sites and communities along the coastline with limited resources.

The main challenge is to find the most cost-efficient approach to data collection, processing and dissemination for developing countries.

We provide services, expertises and tools for fisheries stakeholders to be better informed on small scale fisheries sector activities;  for national fisheries authorities to streamline their resources to produce timely data and statistics for national policy makers, for national exporters to better comply with their catch documentation obligations for exportation.
